Shoalhaven is a region on the South Coast of New South Wales, Australia, renowned for its stunning coastline, lush hinterland, and vibrant communities. Spanning from the southern edge of the Illawarra region down to the northern boundary of Eurobodalla, Shoalhaven stretches over 160 kilometers of coastline, offering some of the most beautiful beaches, rivers, and national parks in the state.
The region begins around the town of Berry, known for its charming heritage buildings and artisan markets, and extends south to Durras Lake, just before reaching Eurobodalla. Shoalhaven is home to over 100 beaches, including the famous Hyams Beach, reputed to have the whitest sand in the world. Inland, the Shoalhaven River weaves through the landscape, offering opportunities for water sports, fishing, and tranquil riverside retreats.
